Fit Throwdown is back for its 5th edition, and this year we’re turning up the intensity.
This is a team-based Functional Fitness competition built to test engine, skill, strength, and teamwork — across multiple workouts, real eliminations, and a proper finals showdown.

Where: Ideal Physique Fitness – Okavango Park, Brackenfell
Dates: Friday – 17 April & Saturday – 18 April

If you’re coming from a distance, we’ll make an exception allowing you to compete only on Saturday (18 April) with an additional workout slotted in.

COMPETITION FORMAT

3 workouts for all teams

4 scoring opportunities

Top 6 teams advance to Semifinals

Top 4 teams advance to Finals
Finalist teams will complete 5 workouts in total.
This is a real progression format — earn your place, then fight to stay in.
MIN. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
RX DIVISION:
- Barbell movements (including snatch 60kg/40kg)
- Chest to bar
- Rope climbs
- Handstand walks
INTERMEDIATE DIVISION:
- Minimum of 5 unbroken pull-ups
- Heels above hip raises
- Barbell movement (including snatch up to 45kg/30kg)
- Deficit Pike push-ups
- Single unders
SCALED DIVISION:
- Barbell movements up to 35/25kg
- Ring rows
- Hanging leg raises
- Box step-ups
